The first three conference games are brutal
Baylor basketball released the full season schedule, and the beginning of Big 12 play is insane. The Bears play Texas at home, then will travel to Lubbock and Lawrence. Texas Tech and Kansas will certainly be picked in the top three and might be the top two teams in the preseason poll.
Every Baylor game will be broadcast on ESPN’s family of networks, expect the game at Kansans. That one will be on CBS.
Baylor will have six games on ESPN+. The streaming service is available for $4.99 a month. Two of those six games are league games. While that’s a welcome change for folks outside of Texas, it will ensure anyone that’s held off on ESPN+ will need to buy it.
I’m not thrilled that Baylor has at Texas Tech and at Kansas so early, but I think the Bears are the best team in the league (that’s not a common opinion; Kansas is going to be picked to win this thing). So it’s not a giant problem that Baylor plays both back-to-back instead of facing them later in the campaign.
