No. 1 A&T Tops No. 7 Fairmont State for 14th Straight Win – Baylor University Official Athletic Site, The top-ranked and three-time defending national champion Baylor acrobatics & tumbling team (6-0) took down the seventh-ranked Fairmont State Fighting Falcons (3-1), 284.835-266.410, on Monday evening at the Ferrell Center.

Baylor head coach Felecia Mulkey said she is proud of the team but that improvements can still be made.

“I’m really proud of them,” Mulkey said. “We’re in the right mindset, but we still need to make some changes.”

WBB Ranked No. 2 in Final AP Poll, KWTX, Baylor women’s basketball earned a No. 2 national ranking in the final release of the Associated Press Top 25 poll Monday afternoon.

Brown was one of five players nationwide named to the Sports Illustrated All-American team. It’s her third All-America honor this season.

The 6-7 forward also received second team All-American honors in 2018 from the USA Today and espnW on top of WBCA All-American and Associated Press Honorable Mention All-American in 2017.

No. 24 Men’s Tennis Upsets No. 11 Columbia, 4-2 – Baylor University Official Athletic Site, In a battle that came down to the final two singles matches, 24th-ranked Baylor men’s tennis captured a 4-2 upset win over No. 11 Columbia Monday afternoon at the Hurd Tennis Center.

Men’s tennis gets revenge on No. 11 Columbia at home | The Baylor Lariat, The No. 24 Baylor men’s tennis team (12-3) upset No. 11 Columbia (8-2) 4-2 on Monday night in Waco in a close match.

This was a chance for the Bears to get revenge on the Lions as Baylor lost to Columbia 4-2 on Feb. 17 at the ITA National Team Indoor Championship.

Baylor head coach Matt Knoll said this was a great win for the team.

“Well we’re getting better. I think that is what’s so gratifying, because they beat us pretty good when we played them a month ago,” Coach Knoll said. “To see that we are getting better against a top team is really gratifying.”
