Texas Women’s Basketball is preparing for a showdown with the top-ranked team in the land. On Monday, Jan. 15 at 6 p.m., the No. 7 Longhorns face off against the No. 1 Huskies in what is sure to be an unforgettable atmosphere inside the Frank Erwin Center. Texas Athletics aims to provide a first-class gameday experience to all fans visiting the UT campus.
Prior to the game, Bevo XV and Smokey the Cannon will be available for photo opportunities on the north plaza outside the Erwin Center. Every fan in the lower seating section of the Erwin Center receives a free “Defend the Drum” T-shirt, and at halftime fans can enjoy a performance from the famous Red Panda.
Please use the information below to assist in planning your trip to the Erwin Center. Take into account increased security measures described below, arrive early, and don’t miss any of the action.
To secure parking at the best prices, please purchase your permit by 10 p.m. the night before the game through the online Click and Park system.
Doors open 90 minutes prior to tipoff. Due to new security procedures, fans are encouraged to arrive as early as possible to avoid waiting in long lines. Please see the map below for less-tracked entrances at the Erwin Center that you can use to speed up your wait time.
CLEAR BAG POLICY
Please note, a clear bag policy is now in effect for Texas Athletics venues. All bags larger than 4.5″x6.5″, including purses and diaper bags, must be clear plastic and no larger than 12″x6″x12″. For more details, please visit TexasSports.com/clearbag.
General Will Call – On gamedays, Will Call for tickets purchased online or over the phone is located in the lobby of the Red River St. entrance of the Erwin Center. Will Call opens 90 minutes prior to tipoff and closes at the end of the first half. To pick up tickets at Will Call, the person picking up the tickets must bring the credit card used to purchase the tickets, a driver’s license, and confirmation number. In addition, the name on the credit card must be the same as the person picking up the tickets.
Team Will Call – Middle and High school/club teams on the pass list should use the EE Doors entrance for check-in. The person picking up the tickets should have their IDs ready to expedite entry. Prospects, HS coaches, Texas player pass, visiting team and public Will Call remains at the Red River St. entrance.
Suite Will Call – Suite Will Call is located at the A doors.
