Bianca Turati stayed hot at the International Tennis Federation pro circuit event in Hilton Head Island, S.C., on Saturday.
The No. 1 ranked junior All-American defeated Justina Mikulskyte of Lithuania 5-7, 6-1, 6-4 to advance to the singles final.
It was the second straight match Turati rallied for the victory. The match lasted 3 hours, 14 minutes, nearly as long as her quarterfinal match Friday.
Turati will face Michaela Bayerlova of Czech Republic at 9 a.m. Sunday.
The junior is coming off a season in which she compiled a 28-4 singles record and earned the Big 12 conference player of the year award. She finished the year at No. 3 in the Oracle/ITA Division I singles rankings. Turati currently holds the No. 1 spot in the preseason women’s collegiate national singles rankings.
