Texas baseball recruiting class ranked No. 10 by Baseball America

The Texas baseball recruiting class is a top-10 class for the second year in a row, according to Baseball America.

The Longhorns check in at No. 10. Last season Texas ranked No. 8 in recruiting class.

In addition to 15 freshman, three junior college transfers make up the Longhorns’ recruiting class.

Among the freshman recruits are three catchers, four right-handed pitchers, five left-handed pitchers, one infielder and two outfielders.

Cam Williams, an infielder, joins the Longhorns from San Jacinto College. Another infielder Murphy Stehly transferred from Orange Coast College while right-handed pitcher Dawson Merryman joins out of Midland College.
