The senior will miss a fourth game this season due to hamstring issues.

In a key road game against the Iowa State Cyclones in Ames, the Texas Longhorns will be without senior wide receiver Collin Johnson, who suffered a hamstring injury last week against the Kansas State Wildcats and was ruled out by head coach Tom Herman before the game.

Johnson received extra treatment during the week, but was unable to practice much, leading to concerns expressed by Herman on Thursday that Johnson might miss the game. And so he will.

Earlier in the season, Johnson missed three games due to a similar hamstring issue.

Johnson has 35 catches for 497 yards and two touchdowns this season.

Redshirt freshman Malcolm Epps replaced Johnson when he was injured earlier this season, but sophomore Brennan Eagles is also capable of playing the X position.
