West Virginia Falls To TCU In Fort Worth, 31-24

If you came here looking for an in-depth recap, look elsewhere. Chris Anderson or Mike Casazza are probably your guys, if that’s what you want.

My heart is absolutely crushed – not because we lost, but how we lost. I have very serious issues with the officiating in the Big 12 Conference, and I think it’s probably fair to say that most of the other teams in the league share the same feelings.

Yes, West Virginia kinda killed themselves with the two turnovers that lead to two TCU touchdowns, and the abhorrent special teams play, but we were still in it on our last drive. You know, the drive that saw this terrible call against the Mountaineers.

That was called offensive pass interference on David Sills. I’m not sure in what world that is OPI, but there you have it.

I won’t even factor in the terrible call on Elijah Battle’s interception, which was overturned and allowed TCU’s go-ahead touchdown.

Dear Big 12,

Your refs are ass. They will always be ass.

GFY,

Michael
